Singing daily

It is so important to sing daily and keep those vocal chords tuned up. The vocal chords are a muscle and need to stay in shape just like any other muscle in the human body.

I find on those days when life seems to escape from me and everything is hectic, I don’t get a chance to use my singing voice and then I must work harder when I have a show to do.

I remember watching a program on Beverly Sills, she sang 6 days a week, 6 hours a day. No wonder she was so amazing. And to think that both of her children could not appreciate her incredible talent as a singer, one child being deaf and the other, I believe was autistic. Perhaps the second child did benefit from her voice in ways that we cannot understand, one does not really know what each individual is thinking and what the brain is comprehending.  But that is another blog, another time.
