Social Networking

Just had a fabulous evening learning all about social networking to promote music. It was at NARIP (National Association of Record Industry Professionals), with some fabulous panelists, Gabe Benveniste, founder of SonicLiving.com and Corey Denis, founder of Not Shocking. Both speakers were amazing but Corey Denis…really knew her stuff about networking specifically with musicians. When I get further into the singing and figure out touring and get that first album under my belt, she is one person I shall be in contact with.

So I re-connected with my twitter account, and will finish the My Space page I started but have been too busy to finish. I shall also have a more concrete plan for my career, pursue more gigs and tours to foreign lands. And I shall use my knowledge of this evening to promote good, not evil…I mean get myself out there with Social Networks. You heard it hear first and you must all hold me to it!! Bug me and make sure I am indeed doing what I ought to be doing.

As soon as this Audio Book I am recording is done, I shall burst forth on my journey of promotion! Oh wait…and as soon as I move at the end of the month, I am not looking for excuses, just the facts, ma’am, nothing but the facts.

If you want to be staked, I mean followed on twitter, just give me a jingle and I will be more than glad to follow your every move. Just please, don’t be too graphic, I am not sure I could handle it.
